Murray Wellness Clinic

We now offer wellness exams with our veterinarian for cats and dogs!

Cats and dogs age much more rapidly than humans, meaning that their health status can change significantly within a short period. Through regular vaccinations and wellness examinations, we aim to proactively safeguard your pet’s well-being, identify diseases early, and minimize the risk of costly medical interventions.

Appointments are not required for vaccinations, microchip implants, or canine heartworm tests unless you want your pet to be examined by our vet.
If your pet is severely ill, injured, or experiencing a medical emergency, please contact a full-service veterinary clinic or take your pet to the nearest emergency facility.

Tuesday – Friday

9 am – 3 pm

Read the following thoroughly before scheduling an appointment.

Appointments are required for each pet you would like to have seen.
Appointments are available up to one month in advance. If there are no appointment times available, please check back soon. New appointments are opened online daily. You can also check back periodically for cancellations.
A $50 deposit is required to schedule your appointment, and will be applied toward the exam fee on the day of service.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email that allows you to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment.
We are unable to process refunds for any missed appointments.
Please come prepared with your pet’s current veterinary records, or even better, email them to us ahead of time at [email protected]
Dogs must be on leash and cats must be in a ventilated carrier at all times.

We cannot accept:

Sick or injured pets. Please contact a full-service veterinary clinic.
Healthy feral or friendly stray cats.
Rabbits, reptiles, fish, mice, or other exotic animals. We encourage you to contact a full-service veterinarian clinic that specializes in these species.
An animal that has bitten someone in the past 10 days.

If your pet has already received an exam through our wellness clinic in the last 12 months, and you need to schedule a nail trim, anal gland expression, or medication injection (cytopoint, librela, or solensia), please call us at (801) 261-2919 ext 240.

Wellness Clinic Fees

Wellness Exam	$50
Vaccinations (depending on which vaccinations are needed)	$20 – $80
Nail Trim	$25
Anal Gland Expression	$25
Lab Tests range from $35 (urine only) to $220 (blood, urine, poop), depending on the type of test. Our veterinarian will tailor recommendations to your pet based on their unique needs.	$35-$220

What to bring to your pet’s wellness appointment:

Please bring your pet’s up-to-date veterinary records with you to your wellness appointment or email them to us in advance at [email protected].
Please bring a recent stool sample in a plastic dog waste bag for fecal testing.
Dogs must be on leash and cats must be in a ventilated carrier at all times.

What to expect at your appointment:

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email that allows you to cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment.
When you arrive, go to the sign-in window located between the clinic doors to let us know you are here for your appointment.
The appointment will take approximately 15-30 minutes. After we’ve gathered information about your pet and the animal exam is completed, we’ll discuss your options with you so you can make the best decision for your pet.
The $50 deposit collected at the time of scheduling will be applied towards your pet’s exam. Any additional services will be at an additional cost.

Why do I need to make an appointment for my pet?

To ensure resources are ready and available when a pet arrives, the Humane Society of Utah requires a scheduled appointment. Without an appointment process, we would have no control over the number of pets that come into our care each day, and our ability to provide the best possible care for each animal would be hindered. It also eliminates you having to wait in long lines with your pet.
