Murray Wellness Clinic

Maintaining your pet’s health is one of the most valuable investments you can make, and it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Through regular vaccinations and wellness examinations, we aim to proactively safeguard your pet’s well-being while also minimizing the risk of costly medical interventions. Dogs and cats age much more rapidly than humans, meaning their health status can change significantly within a short period. Regular wellness assessments allow us to diagnose diseases and conditions early when they’re easier to treat or manage.

What should you expect after scheduling an appointment?

You will receive a confirmation email after scheduling an appointment and can cancel or reschedule if needed. You will also receive a reminder email 12 hours before your appointment. Please read the Wellness Clinic FAQs below or contact us for information with any questions before arriving.

Upon arrival, please go to the Check-In window located between the East and West Clinic doors. You will be brought into our lobby with our walk-in clinic patrons and taken to a room when available.

What to bring to your pet’s wellness appointment:

  • Please bring your pet’s up-to-date veterinary records with you to your wellness appointment or email them to us in advance at [email protected]
  • Please bring a recent stool sample in a plastic dog waste bag for fecal testing.
  • Dogs must be on leash and cats must be in a ventilated carrier at all times.

What to expect at your appointment:

Your appointment will take approximately 15-30 minutes. After we’ve gathered information about your pet and the animal exam is completed, we’ll discuss your options with you so you can make the best decision for your pet.

Why do I need to make an appointment for my pet?

To ensure resources are ready and available when a pet arrives, the Humane Society of Utah requires a scheduled appointment. Without an appointment process, we would have no control over the number of pets that come into our care each day, and our ability to provide the best possible care for each animal would be hindered. It also eliminates you having to wait in long lines with your pet.

What if I don’t want to make an appointment?

We offer vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchipping in our walk-in clinic.
