Puppy Vaccinations

Initial puppy vaccinations should be given every 3-4 weeks until the puppy reaches at least 16 weeks old. A minimum of three sets of DA2PP should be provided.

The total number of sets needed will depend entirely on the puppy’s age at each visit. To minimize cost, guardians may bring their puppy in at precisely 8, 12, and 16 weeks old.

If sets are given any longer than 4 weeks apart, additional vaccinations will be necessary at the guardian’s expense. If puppies start their vaccinations earlier than 8 weeks old or complete the schedule below before reaching 16 weeks old, additional vaccinations will be necessary at the guardian’s expense.

All dogs 16 weeks and older receiving their first vaccinations will require two sets of DA2PP given 3-4 weeks apart. The vaccinations included in the final set are current for one year. When they return a year later, they will be given a DA2PP and Rabies vaccination good for three years.
