Our Mission

The Humane Society of Utah is dedicated to the elimination of pain, fear, and suffering in all animals. Our goal is to keep pets and people together, bring them together, and help move each animal to their most appropriate outcome as quickly as possible.

Your Generosity Makes a Difference

provides a full week of shelter, care, and love for 35 vulnerable pets, giving them the safety and support they need to find loving homes.

$5,000

covers the intake costs for 14 animals, giving them a second chance by providing the essential medical care, vaccinations, and initial support they need upon arrival.

$3,500

provides 87 days of compassionate care for vulnerable animals, ensuring they receive the love and attention they need while waiting for loving homes.

$2,500

helps stock our shelves with essential supplies for two weeks, ensuring animals have everything they need during their stay.

$1,000

helps 10 beloved pets stay with their families, preventing heartbreaking separations through our Pet Retention Program, which ensures that pets and their people can remain together where they belong.
