UTAH’S CATS & DOGS FARE WELL DURING 2010 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
2010 proved to be a year of tremendous progress for Utah’s cats and dogs thanks to bills passed by lawmakers during the recent legislative session. Two of three bills aimed at protecting our state’s companion animals were passed and will soon become law.

SB 218, ANTIFREEZE BITTERING ACT, PASSES
The Utah Legislature has passed SB 218, the “Engine Coolant Bittering Act.” The bill passed in the House of Representatives by a vote of 60-14 after sailing through the Senate 25-0.
