"RANGER" THE DOG HOME, IMPROVING; HUMANE SOCIETY COLLECTING FUNDS FOR MEDICAL BILLS, STILL SEEKS CLUES TO BATTERER’S IDENTITY

Officials of the Humane Society of Utah were pleased to learn this week that Ranger, the small dog violently kicked or thrown against a wall when burglars broke into his Riverton home while his owners were absent, has been released from the veterinary hospital, where his life hung in the balance for days, and is now back with his family. He is showing steady improvement, in spite of having suffered massive blunt trauma to his head, says owner Vicky Kunz.

NEWSPAPER DONATIONS NEEDED

The Humane Society of Utah is in need of Newspaper donations for the shelter. We use the newspaper to line the animal cages. If you have newspaper and you are able to donate it please drop it off at the Humane Society at 4242 S. 300 W. in Murray.

Cat Adoption Specials

It’s KITTEN SEASON here at the Humane Society of Utah, and we’ve got some cat adoption specials to help us match up great cats with great homes! All of our cats and kittens are vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed or neutered before adoption, and we’ll send them home with you in a cardboard carrier.
